Hon. Cindy Ngoc Tran Knighted by the Royal Maharlika at the WCH Royal Summit Las Vegas 2024


The Royal House of Luzon Tagalog, also known as the Royal Maharlika, and We Care for Humanity (WCH) were pleased to announce Hon. Cindy Ngoc Tran, Mayor Pro Tem - District 3 City of Garden Grove, CA, as one of the knights and honorees of the Knights of the Royal Maharlika. The majestic knighting was held during the WCH Royal Summit at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas on August 14, 2024.

Queen Maria Amor Leonor Torres Mastura, the founder of WCH and Chairperson of the summit, extended her congratulations, stating, "We were thrilled to recognize Cindy Ngoc Tran for her exemplary service and dedication to both local and international communities. Her work significantly impacted the lives of many, and we were honored to celebrate her achievements at the WCH Royal Summit."

Born in Vietnam, Cindy Ngoc Tran was elected to the Garden Grove City Council in 2022, she has been a Garden Grove resident since 2009. After serving five years of active duty with the United States Navy, she began her career with the Boeing Company, working on the Delta IV Heavy Load Rocket program and earning the Young Engineer of the Year award as a board member of Boeing's Young Engineering Team. 

Council Member Tran has dedicated her efforts to enhancing the lives of local and international Vietnamese communities. She is the principal of Our Lady of La Vang Church and has held numerous community service roles, including vice chairman of the Vietnamese American Federation of Southern California and chairman of the Overseas Vietnamese Women's Association. She also serves as chairman of the Society of Women Engineers. 

As a youth leadership advocate, she co-coaches the First Lego League for students at Saint Columban School. Cindy and her husband, David, have three children. Her community goal is to enhance the quality of life in Garden Grove by ensuring neighborhood safety, improving parks and recreation, and promoting support for local small businesses. 

She holds two master's degrees in Software Engineering and System Architecture Engineering. Cindy has been involved with several professional and community organizations, including the Aerospace Management Club, Professional Development, Society of Women Engineers, and the Vietnamese American Federation of Southern California.

Thi Phuong Anh Tran Honored as Woman of the Year at the WCH Royal Summit Las Vegas 2024


The Royal House of Luzon Tagalog, also known as the Royal Maharlika, and We Care for Humanity (WCH) were pleased to announce THI PHUONG ANH TRAN, CEO of WORD OF LIFE Europe, as the recipient of the Woman of the Year award. The prestigious award ceremony took place during the WCH Royal Summit at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas on August 14, 2024.

Queen Maria Amor Leonor Torres Mastura, the founder of WCH and Chairperson of the summit, extended her congratulations, stating, "We were delighted to honor Thi Phuong Anh Tran for her remarkable dedication to humanitarian efforts and leadership in community service. Her work brought hope and prosperity to many, and we were excited to celebrate her achievements at the WCH Royal Summit."

Thi Phuong Anh Tran, born on May 12, 1983, is a dedicated and compassionate leader from Vietnam, currently serving as the CEO of WORD OF LIFE Europe. With a strong background in academia and international management, she has accumulated over 15 years of experience as a Ph.D. university lecturer and international manager in both Vietnam and Germany.

Phuong Anh's humanitarian efforts are a significant part of her life's work. She has been deeply involved in organizing WORD OF LIFE events aimed at fostering a prosperous and loving community. These events, held in Ho Chi Minh City in 2023 and Hanoi in both 2023 and 2024, have positively impacted numerous individuals, spreading hope and support across these regions.

Her dedication and contributions have been recognized by WORD OF LIFE, with CEO Nguyen Thanh Nhan presenting her with prestigious awards, highlighting her exceptional leadership and service.

Phuong Anh's greatest dream is to bring prosperity and happiness to others, a vision that guides her professional and personal endeavors. Her motto, inspired by the Bible (Mark 12:31), "Love your neighbor as yourself," reflects her deep commitment to compassion and community.


As a devoted CEO, Phuong Anh continues to lead WORD OF LIFE Europe with a focus on fostering positive change and supporting those in need. Beyond her professional and humanitarian work, she enjoys her favorite hobby of nurturing her spiritual connection with God, which fuels her passion for helping others.


Honored REV. DAVID QUACH with the Men of the Year Award at the WCH Royal Summit, Las Vegas 2024

DAVID QUACH, CEO of Word Of Life USA-Canada, as one of the honorees for the Men of the Year award. The prestigious award ceremony took place during the WCH Royal Summit at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas on August 14, 2024.

Queen Maria Amor Leonor Torres Mastura, the founder of WCH and Chairperson of the summit, extended her congratulations, stating, "We were honored to recognize Rev. David Quach for his unwavering dedication to humanitarian efforts and community service. His work positively impacted countless lives, and we were proud to celebrate his contributions at the WCH Royal Summit."

David Quach, born on September 14, 1977, is a passionate and committed leader from Vietnam, currently serving as the CEO of Word Of Life USA-Canada. His life's work reflects a deep dedication to humanitarian efforts and community service, exemplified by his various impactful initiatives. David's journey began in his senior high school years in 1992, when he started serving in church ministries, a path that led him to earn a Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary in California in 2007. That same year, he was ordained as a pastor by Lifelink International through Adonai Nissi Church in San Jose, California.

David's humanitarian activities are a testament to his unwavering commitment to helping others. From 2009 to 2011, he was instrumental in building country roads, providing haircuts, and bringing doctors and pharmacists to deliver medical care and medications to various areas in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam, benefiting over 100 people in each place. In 2011, he provided essential supplies such as money, rice, food, and warm clothes to flood victims in Ninh Binh Province, Vietnam, aiding around 100 people. In 2013, David extended his humanitarian efforts to the Philippines, supplying dried food and mosquito nets to victims of the Yolanda Storm.

David's contributions have not gone unnoticed. In 2010, he received an accolade from the Tien Giang Provincial Government in the Mekong Delta, recognizing his efforts. More recently, in 2024, he was honored as a Humanity Ambassador by the World Service Authority in California.

David's greatest dream is to help young people realize their dreams and become influential figures who inspire and uplift others. His motto, "Helped to help," encapsulates his philosophy of paying forward the support and guidance he has received throughout his life.

David has served as a preaching pastor with Assemblies of God in Vietnam since 2008 and later as a pastor at Edmonton Vietnamese Mennonite Church and H.O.P.E. Church in Canada. In 2022, he became the Pre Planning Director for Arbor Memorial Inc., and in 2024, he assumed his current role as CEO of Word Of Life USA-Canada. Beyond his professional and humanitarian work, David enjoys camping, reflecting his love for nature and the outdoors.

Dr. Noemi Frias Knighted by the Royal Maharlika at the WCH Royal Summit Las Vegas 2024

 

The Royal House of Luzon Tagalog, also known as the Royal Maharlika, and We Care for Humanity (WCH) were pleased to announce Dr. NOEMI FRIAS, President and CEO of Capstone House LLC, as one of the honorees for the Woman of the Year award. The prestigious award ceremony took place during the WCH Royal Summit at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas on August 14, 2024.

Noemi Frias, born on September 24, 1960, in Canada, is a multifaceted leader known for her significant contributions to education, community service, and business development.

Her efforts in promoting STEM education and supporting disadvantaged communities have made a lasting impact, and we were proud to celebrate her achievements at the WCH Royal Summit.'' 

Noemi's humanitarian work is extensive and impactful. As an Adviser and Founder of Alpha Active Knights (AAK) in Houston, TX, since 2009, she has led efforts to plant and maintain trees, clean parks, and assist international communities through various outreach programs. This initiative was recognized by the City of Houston, which proclaimed July 9 as AAK Day in 2012. Additionally, as the President and Co-founder of the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Houston (FACCGH), Noemi has promoted entrepreneurship and facilitated local and international business opportunities, earning January 19 as FACCGH Day in Houston. Through her role as Adviser and Founder of AECHS STEM Academy, she has provided education to at-risk, minority, economically-disadvantaged, first-generation college-bound students, enabling them to earn a high school diploma and an Associate degree before pursuing a four-year college course.

Her contributions have been recognized with prestigious awards, including the US Congressional Plaque of Appreciation for her work in STEM education for underrepresented and economically disadvantaged students, awarded in Washington, DC, in May 2015, and the Texas Senate Award for Outstanding Contributions to STEM Education, received in Austin, TX, in May 2017.

Noemi's biggest dream is to establish a trade school for the poorest of the poor, providing free education and training to the youth, helping them secure jobs, and becoming productive and proactive members of society. Her motto, "Everybody deserves a seat at the table of plenty," reflects her commitment to inclusivity and empowerment.

Born and raised in the Philippines, Noemi migrated to the US in 2002. She has continued her work as an educator, science researcher, grant writer, STEM specialist, business consultant, and entrepreneur. She provides leadership not only in STEM education but also in the development and management of Chamber of Commerce programs and initiatives, serving as Chamber President and National Secretary of the Federation of Philippine American Chambers of Commerce. Noemi’s dedication to community service, education, and business development underscores her life's work and her enduring impact on society.



Mr. Loloy Reyes Knighted by the Royal Maharlika at the WCH Royal Summit Las Vegas 2024

LOLOY REYES, Chairman and Founder of the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Houston, as one of the honorees for the Man of the Year award. The prestigious award ceremony took place during the WCH Royal Summit at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas on August 14, 2024.

Loloy Reyes, born on January 18, 1958, in Canada, is a distinguished business owner, community leader, volunteer, and advocate. With a background in Business Management and Economics, Loloy has built a remarkable career in real estate, helping middle and low-income families achieve their American dream of homeownership. As the Chairman and Founder of the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Houston, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership and vision.

Loloy’s humanitarian efforts are noteworthy. In October 2022, as the Head of a Trade Mission to the Philippines, he facilitated 2 billion pesos in investments, significantly boosting local MSMEs and providing numerous job opportunities. His role as Outreach Director for People Caring for the Community Inc. in November 2013 was pivotal in raising $700,000 for super typhoon Haiyan victims in Tacloban, Leyte. Additionally, as President of the Houston Millennium Lions Club in December 2007, Loloy raised funds for scholarships benefiting underprivileged but deserving students in the Philippines.

His exemplary service has earned him numerous accolades, including the US Congressional Plaque of Appreciation for Exemplary Humanitarian Service in January 2014, awarded by US Congressman Al Green, and the Houston Volunteer Award for Community Building and Development from the City of Houston in 2016.

Loloy’s biggest dream is to promote trade and ease of doing business between third-world countries and the US, fostering economic growth and development. His motto, "If we understand that it takes a village to raise a child, then we must also understand that it takes that same village to support the adults so they can better take care of the children," underscores his commitment to community building and collective effort.

Beyond his professional and humanitarian achievements, Loloy is an avid fisherman who enjoys spending time with his family. His life and work reflect his dedication to improving the lives of others and building stronger, more resilient communities.

With 14 years of experience in a private company, Kiều Hương advanced to the role of branch manager for a restaurant and a local tourism area. Kiều Hương is also deeply committed to humanitarian work. In 2020, she provided flood relief in central Vietnam, supported food aid during the COVID-19 pandemic in Saigon in 2021, and in 2023, visited and donated gifts to 9,000 orphans across social centers in Vietnam. Her dedication to charity and community service continues to inspire many.

THU GIAY LE, Co-Founder of VNEX Viet Nam Company Limited, as one of the honorees for the Woman of the Year award. Ms. Gerri Schroder Knighted by the Royal Maharlika at the WCH Royal Summit in Las Vegas 2024

GERRI SCHRODER, Former City Councilwoman of Henderson, Nevada, as one of the knights and honorees of the Knights of the Royal Maharlika. The majestic knighting was held during the WCH Royal Summit at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas on August 14, 2024.

Queen Maria Amor Leonor Torres Mastura, the founder of WCH and Chairperson of the summit, extended her congratulations, stating, "We were honored to knight Gerri Schroder. Her unwavering dedication to public service and community welfare made a significant impact. We looked forward to her continued contributions to the betterment of society.

Gerri Schroder, born on June 12, 1964, is a dedicated public servant with a rich heritage and a profound commitment to her community. Growing up in Southern California, she was raised by her Japanese mother and American father, alongside her brother and three sisters. This multicultural upbringing instilled in her a deep appreciation for diversity and community service.

Throughout her career, Gerri has made significant contributions to public service. She served on the staff of former United States Senator Richard Bryan, former Congresswoman Shelley Berkley, and Congresswoman Susie Lee. Her dedication to her community led her to serve on the City of Henderson City Council for three terms, the maximum allowable in the State of Nevada.

Gerri initiated the Henderson Community Cleanup Trailer, organized the AANHPI Heritage Festival, and hosted scam protection events for seniors alongside Congresswoman Susie Lee. Her efforts have not gone unnoticed, earning her accolades such as the OCA Las Vegas Community 88 Funds ICON Award and being named one of the Distinguished Women in Nevada. She was also among the first recipients of the Distinguished Endeavor Award.

Guided by her life motto, "Everything you experience throughout your life will lead you to where you are supposed to be," Gerri continues to dedicate herself to public service. Her future plans involve continuing to assist individuals and organizations in any capacity where there is a need, ensuring her lasting impact on the community she loves.
