We Care for Humanity's Hat Soiree in Las Vegas a Resounding Success, Benefiting Children with Autism

We Care for Humanity (WCH) celebrated a successful "Hat Soiree" on October 5th, an afternoon of elegance, fashion, and philanthropy that raised funds to acquire special toys for its beneficiary, Autism & Behavioral Consulting Services.

The glamorous event, held in Las Vegas, was spearheaded by the WCH Las Vegas Chapter, under the dynamic leadership of Regional Director Lola Smallen and WCH Humanitarian Ambassadors Leah Halama and Helen Hong. The soiree was held under the patronage of HRH Maha Putri (Queen) Mariam Leonor Torres Mastura, the esteemed founder of We Care for Humanity.

The afternoon brought together a compassionate community, including members of the WCH Los Angeles Chapter, headed by Bai Hong Vo and Bai Thanh Lam, and residents of the Rhodes Ranch Community. The fundraising efforts were a creative success, featuring exclusively designed hats by Lola Smallen and exquisite fashion accessories by Queen Mariam, which were sold to enthusiastic guests. Additional donations from attendees further boosted the funds raised for the noble cause. A highlight of the evening was a vibrant fashion show where guests joyfully modeled their new hats and accessories, filling the room with energy and camaraderie.

The following day, October 6th, the WCH delegation fulfilled its mission. Led by Queen Mariam and the Las Vegas Chapter, the group visited Autism & Behavioral Consulting to personally deliver a generous donation of interactive and colorful toys designed to support the therapy and development of children with autism. The WCH team was given a special tour of the state-of-the-art facility, followed by a productive meeting with the center's management to forge lasting connections and plan future collaborative engagements.

"To see our community come together with such open hearts and generosity is truly inspiring," said HRH Queen Mariam. "This event was not just about raising funds; it was about raising spirits and creating a circle of care around these wonderful children. We are immensely grateful to everyone who contributed to this success."

We Care for Humanity’s Peace Caravan: When the World Divides, Peace Becomes Our Duty

Today, the world finds itself in a fragile and turbulent state. Global peacefulness continues to decline, with the latest Global Peace Index showing that wars, violence, and instability are at their highest levels in decades. In just the past year, nearly 60 conflicts have raged across the globe, taking more than 150,000 lives and displacing millions from their homes. From the war in Ukraine, which has left Europe “no longer at peace” with Russia, to the devastating humanitarian crises in Gaza and the Democratic Republic of Congo, the story is the same: violence outpaces resolution, and hope often feels distant.

Conflicts today do not end easily. Few conclude with decisive victories or negotiated settlements. Instead, they drag on, leaving nations scarred and people uprooted. Even peaceful demonstrations are not spared, as seen in Kashmir where gunfire recently shattered a rally meant to call for reconciliation. The overall picture is one of a world under siege, struggling with armed tensions, fractured politics, economic instability, and the growing pressures of climate change.

Yet in this dark time, rays of light still shine. One such light is the Peace Caravan of We Care for Humanity. Unlike traditional diplomacy, the Caravan moves with the power of culture, art, and spirituality. Composed of Buddhist performing artists from the Himalayan region-; Nepal, Bhutan, India, Cambodia, Vietnam, and beyond, the Peace Caravan travels across countries and continents carrying the torch of compassion, unity, and healing.

Guided by the vision of MAHA PUTRI (QUEEN) MARIAM, founder of We Care for Humanity, the Caravan spreads peace not through speeches or treaties, but through the universal language of music, dance, and meditation. Wherever it goes, from Asia to Latin America, the Caravan builds bridges between peoples, reminding communities that peace begins not in political halls, but in human hearts.

The Peace Caravan embodies a simple yet powerful truth: when people share culture, when they sing, dance, and reflect together, divisions soften and hope takes root. It is a moving reminder that in times when the world is torn apart, peace is not an abstract dream. It is a responsibility, lived out in actions both great and small.

As conflicts continue to challenge humanity, We Care for Humanity reaffirms its mission: to carry this caravan of peace further, touching more communities, and planting seeds of compassion in places where despair once grew. Because though the world is restless, peace is possible, and it begins with us.

Global Peace Movement Gains Momentum as Iranian Travel Association Joins Call for Unity

Echoing the urgent call for a ceasefire from the recent We Care for Humanity (WCH) peace conference, a growing international movement for peace has found another powerful voice. The Association of Air Transport and Travel Agents of Iran (AATTAI) has issued a landmark official statement, calling on journalists and tourism professionals worldwide to unite in a shared mission to heal a world fractured by conflict.

The message, authored by AATTAI’s Secretary General, Dr. Hormatallah Rafiei, aligns with the spirit of the WCH summit, where global leaders and advocates converged to seek solutions for peace. Dr. Rafiei’s statement identifies two key pillars for building global solidarity: the freedom to travel and the freedom of expression.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT OF PEACE

From the Association of Air Transport and Travel Agents of Iran (AATTAI)

"In a world marked by rising conflict, fragmentation, and the erosion of trust, the Association of Air Transport and Travel Agents of Iran (AATTAI) expresses its profound belief in the shared power of tourism and journalism to foster peace, understanding, and human solidarity.

We address this message of peace to all journalists across the globe — those who, through courage, truthfulness, and an unwavering commitment to freedom of expression, serve as voices of conscience in a time that urgently needs clarity and compassion.

We believe that the freedom to move and the freedom to speak are two vital pillars of human connection. As travelers cross borders with curiosity and respect, and as journalists report with honesty and integrity, both become ambassadors of truth, dismantling stereotypes, uncovering common ground, and nurturing empathy across divides.

The people of Iran, inheritors of a deep and diverse cultural heritage, understand well the value of dialogue over silence, bridges over walls, and stories over slogans. We at AATTAI extend our hand in friendship to all journalists and reaffirm our hope for a future where journalism and tourism unite not only in purpose but in peace.

Let us walk together in this shared mission, to illuminate, to connect, and to build a more compassionate world."

With deepest respect,

DR. HORMATALLAH RAFIEI
Secretary General
Association of Air Transport and Travel Agents of Iran (AATTAI)

Global Leaders and Advocates Converge for Highly Successful WCH Emergency Online Peace Forum, Unanimously Calling for Immediate Ceasefire & Peaceful Resolution Between Israel & Iran

In a powerful display of global unity and humanitarian urgency, We Care for Humanity (WCH) successfully convened its Emergency Online Peace Forum, drawing a distinguished assembly of international leaders, WCH members, and peace advocates from across the globe. The forum delivered a resounding, unified demand for an immediate ceasefire and peaceful resolution between Israel and Iran, echoing a collective resolve to prioritize human life over conflict.

The forum, initiated by Queen Mariam Leonor Torres Mastura, Founder of We Care for Humanity (WCH), with assistance from Joseph Rivera, WCH Country Director in Qatar, saw impassioned pleas and actionable insights from a diverse roster of speakers, all committed to ending the cycle of violence.

Opening the forum, Queen Mariam Leonor Torres Mastura, the Convenor, delivered a compelling address that set the tone for the urgent dialogue. "We gather not just for a meeting, but for a critical intervention, to unite our powerful voices in an unwavering demand for an immediate ceasefire and peaceful resolution between Israel and Iran," Queen Maria declared. She lamented the current state of the world, "as if our world has not been beaten enough by the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine, South Sudan, and the recent devastation in Gaza." Emphasizing the dire threat of nuclear weapons, she challenged the global community: "Must we forever be divided in the name of our countries, or can we finally work together as one humanity, one world? If we, as citizens of the world, do not take action and collectively intervene, we risk finding ourselves facing irreversible consequences."

Joseph Rivera, WCH Country Director for Qatar and Assistant Convener, spoke passionately on behalf of migrant workers, asserting that war "exacerbates economic instability, disrupts global livelihoods, and accelerates the climate crisis." He appealed to world leaders to "prioritize diplomacy over devastation," highlighting that "the stakes are very very high" and urging humanity to "save the world for future generations."
