Her life with her husband, Naval Architect Konstantinos Michalopoulos, involved residing in an remarkable 16 countries across Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, often supporting his public relations activities.
Beyond her professional life, Jenny has demonstrated exceptional commitment to community and leadership. She was an active member of the Women’s International Club (WIC) worldwide and became a dedicated Rotarian in Jakarta in 1991. Her remarkable leadership led her to serve as president of various Rotary Clubs eight times globally. Upon returning to Greece, she was instrumental in establishing the New Erythraia Rotary Club and founded the Kapandriti Rotary Club, which notably included 30 Greek women from the shipping industry. Her diverse interests include psychology, world religions, and charity work. This award celebrates her unique ability to connect, lead, and serve on a truly international scale.
