The luncheon was expertly organized by WCH Las Vegas Regional Director, Lola Smallen, and Deputy Director, Leah Halama. The gathering served as both a humanitarian briefing and a celebration of community spirit, attended and donated by new supporters including Ying Wang, Ying Liu, Xiahong Wang, and Kay Pannu. The event was further distinguished by the presence of Royal Maharlika Honoree, Dr. Noemi Frias, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Greater Houston. Helen Hanson, Woman of the Year 2025 also made a last minute donation.
Characterized by a lively and fashionable atmosphere, the lunch successfully raised $350. This follows the chapter's recent "Spring Cowboy Trip to Red Rock and Mt. Charleston," which generated $400. Together, the Las Vegas Chapter has raised a total of $750 for the month of March. These funds are designated to provide essential aid to the homeless population in Las Vegas and to support children in need.
"I highly commend the leadership of Lola Smallen and Leah Halama," said Maha Putri Mariam Leonor Torres Mastura (Queen Maria), Founder of We Care for Humanity. "Their dedication has made the Las Vegas chapter exceptionally active, ensuring that our mission to serve the vulnerable is being met with passion and tangible results."
