WCH Las Vegas Hosts "Spring Cowboy" Humanitarian Excursion to Red Rock and Mt. Charleston to Support the Homeless

On a mission to blend cultural appreciation with impactful philanthropy, Maha Putri Mariam Leonor Torres Mastura (Queen Maria), Founder of We Care for Humanity (WCH), recently joined members of the organization for a "Spring Cowboy" themed humanitarian excursion through the scenic landscapes of Red Rock Canyon and Mt. Charleston, Nevada.

Organized by WCH Las Vegas Regional Director Lola Smallen and Deputy Director Leah Halama, the day-long event served as a vibrant fundraising initiative for the homeless population of Las Vegas. The themed trip brought together a prestigious group of humanitarian leaders, including Huong Vo (WCH Regional Director for Los Angeles), Helen Hanson (WCH Woman of the Year, Las Vegas 2025), Iro Smith (WCH Woman of the Year 2025, Bali), and Hally from Los Angeles.

The event was also a double celebration, marking the birthday of Huong Vo and a warm welcome for Iro Smith, a Greek origin who traveled from Houston to visit Queen Maria in Las Vegas. Dressed in spirited cowboy attire, the participants enjoyed a day of sisterhood, laughter, and spectacular views, all while keeping the mission of service at the forefront.

The initiative successfully raised $400, with all proceeds dedicated to providing essential aid to the homeless community in Las Vegas.

"Combining our love for Nevada’s natural beauty with our commitment to those in need is what WCH is all about," said Queen Maria. "It was an honor to celebrate these remarkable women while making a tangible difference for our brothers and sisters in Los Angeles."
