Led by the Founder of We Care for Humanity (WCH), Maha Putri Mariam Leonor Torres Mastura (Queen Maria), the mission provided essential support, gifts, and cash donations to the local community.
The event was warmly received by Master Giac Hanh, the head of Temple Tinh Xa Ngoc Van, who has collaborated with the organization for several years. The mission served more than 60 children, providing them with holiday gifts and financial aid to support their well-being.
The successful operation was organized by Bai Huong Vo, the WCH Country Director for Vietnam, ensuring logistics and distribution ran smoothly. She was joined by Phan Le Quy, a dedicated humanitarian who played a pivotal role in the event's success. The "Global Santa" initiative, the flagship humanitarian program of We Care for Humanity (WCH), successfully touched down in Hanoi, bringing essential aid and holiday cheer to those who need it most. Led by WCH Founder and President, Queen Mariam Leonor Torres Mastura, the mission focused on providing relief to patients battling critical illnesses.
The delegation visited two major hospitals dedicated to cancer treatment in Hanoi. The team distributed vital medicines and food supplies to hundreds of patients, offering not just material aid but a message of solidarity and hope during the season.
Spearheading the logistics on the ground was Ms. Bai Huong Vo, the WCH Country Director for Vietnam, whose leadership ensured the smooth execution of the mission.
A significant pillar of this event was the major sponsorship of Ms. Thuy Tran, a dedicated philanthropist and business leader. Ms. Tran, who was previously crowned as one of the "WCH Women of the Year" at the 2024 Royal Summit in Manila, played a crucial role in funding the relief goods. In recognition of her continued service and dedication to the organization's mission, WCH is pleased to announce that Ms. Tran will soon be officially appointed as the WCH Regional Director for Hanoi.
The mission was further strengthened by the generous support of Belynn Lam and Datu Hoa Lam, who joined the delegation in distributing aid directly to the patients.
"Global Santa is not just about giving gifts; it is about letting these patients know that the world has not forgotten them," said Queen Maria. "Thanks to the incredible leadership of Bai Huong Vo and the generosity of Ms. Thuy Tran, we were able to bring light to these hospital wards."

On December 30, 2025, the Greece chapter of We Care for Humanity (WCH) brought the warmth of the holiday season to the orphans of Hadjikyriakeio through a special Global Santa mission.
The humanitarian effort was mobilized in response to the health challenges faced by the orphans’ guardian, Archimandrite Chrysostomos Karambelas, who recently underwent multiple surgeries. To ensure the children were not left behind during the festive season while their guardian recovers, the WCH team stepped in to provide essential support and holiday cheer.
The mission was spearheaded by WCH Greece and Cyprus Ambassador, Dr. Katerina Glykou Fontinia, and WCH Greece Interim Country Director, Ms. Jenny Michalopolous. They were joined by a dedicated group of ten female members of WCH Greece and the organization’s social media team from the group "It is us - not me - because ego is over" (https://www.facebook.com/groups/124215304408005/?ref=share).
Together, the volunteers delivered a substantial donation of food, including meat, bread, and various holiday goodies, ensuring the children enjoyed a festive meal and felt the embrace of their community.
Archimandrite Chrysostomos Karambelas is a cherished member of the humanitarian community, having been knighted by We Care for Humanity in September 2025 during the Heptapolis - Trilogy, the Vision of Delphi event in Athens.
Reflecting on the collective effort of the volunteers, Dr. Katerina Glykou Fontinia remarked, "True humanitarianism is about acting as one family. When we saw the need at Hadjikyriakeio, there was no hesitation; we simply wanted to ensure these children felt love and security during the holidays."
Ms. Jenny Michalopolous added, "The spirit of Global Santa is about stepping in where there is a need. With Father Chrysostomos recovering, we felt a deep responsibility to ensure the orphans of Hadjikyriakeio still experienced the joy and abundance of the holidays. It was an honor to serve them."
The Founder of We Care for Humanity, HRH Queen Mariam Leonor Torres Mastura, praised the initiative from the organization's headquarters: "I am incredibly proud of the WCH Greece team. Their swift action to support the orphans while our dear Knight, Archimandrite Chrysostomos, recovers is the true definition of compassion. They have shown that when one of us is down, the rest will stand up to protect the vulnerable."

The children were treated to a sumptuous feast featuring cakes, drinks, and holiday treats. The atmosphere was electric with joy as the WCH team, the Torres family, and the children engaged in fun dances and games before the distribution of gifts.
"Christmas is not just a date on a calendar; it is a spirit of giving that transcends borders," stated HRH Queen Maria. The distribution was facilitated by the visiting delegation from Jain University, led by Mr. Rahul Jaiswal, who flew to Kenya to personally present the certificates and commend the students for their resilience and academic excellence.
The seamless organization of the event was credited to Mr. Benjamin Musunza, WCH Country Director for Kenya. His tireless efforts ensured the scholars were supported throughout their academic journey and prepared for this graduation milestone.
"Education is the most powerful tool we can give to humanity," stated HRH Queen Maria. "Seeing these students hold their certificates today—whether for a Master's degree or a Bachelor's—at the home of such a respected leader as H.E. Kalonzo Musyoka proves that when we collaborate, we can turn dreams into reality."
In a significant stride toward combating water scarcity and poverty in East Africa, HRH Maha Putri Mariam Leonor Torres Mastura, Founder of We Care for Humanity (WCH), successfully installed two solar-powered shallow water wells in the Mwingi region of Kenya this past December.
The initiative, executed under the Water for Humanity Program of WCH and aligned with the organization’s Ending Poverty/Food and Water Advocacy, marks a vital development for the communities of Mangani and Thonoa.
The inauguration was hosted by Honorable Gideon Mulyungi, MP of Mwingi, and supported by Hon. Kennedy Musyoka, MP of Eastern Africa, alongside Ms. Belynn Lam, CEO of Lam Global. The project was meticulously coordinated on the ground by Mr. Benjamin Musunza, the WCH Country Director for Kenya.
In a display of collaborative governance, MP Dr. Irene Kasalu generously donated a water tank to support the Mangani water well infrastructure.
"Water is the foundation of life and dignity," said HRH Queen Mariam Leonor Torres Mastura. "By installing these solar-powered wells, we are not just providing a resource; we are empowering the families of Mangani and Thonoa to build a sustainable future. Seeing the joy in the community, especially when they bestowed upon me the name 'Syukimanzi'—meaning 'the one who brings progress to the people'—affirms that our mission to end poverty is truly reaching the hearts of the locals."
Coinciding with the water infrastructure inauguration, WCH launched its renowned Global Santa Program in the region. The festivities provided meals to over 3,000 people across both locations. The massive humanitarian relief effort included the distribution of over 2 million goodies and essential items to local residents. To further assist the families, Hon. Gideon Mulyungi distributed cash grants during the event.
Hon. Gideon Mulyungi expressed his gratitude for the international support: "The people of Mwingi are deeply moved by the generosity of Queen Mariam and We Care for Humanity. These wells solve a critical challenge for our constituency, and the Global Santa program brought a joy to our children that we will never forget."
Hon. Kennedy Musyoka added, "This partnership serves as a model for how global organizations and local leadership can collaborate. We look forward to continuing this work to ensure water security and prosperity for Eastern Africa."

In one of the most poignant chapters of the 2025 Global Santa Program, We Care for Humanity (WCH) extended its reach to a specialized care facility in Rizal, providing essential support and pastoral guidance to young survivors of abuse.
The mission was personally sponsored and coordinated by Ms. Cristi Santos Pangilinan, WCH Regional Director for Rizal, in close collaboration with Pastora Rizaline Irene Torres Pascual, WCH Country Director for the Philippines. Due to the sensitive nature of the institution—which provides sanctuary for girls aged 10 to 17 who have survived traumatic domestic circumstances—the location remains undisclosed and the identities of the beneficiaries have been strictly protected to ensure their safety and dignity.
A Holistic Approach to Healing
The visit focused on providing both practical resources and emotional restoration. Each of the young women received:
Personal Hygiene Kits: Essential supplies curated to promote health and self-care.
Nutritional Support: Specially prepared lunch packs and festive chocolates.
Spiritual Fortification: Deeply impactful pastoral care and counseling sessions led by Rev. Pastor Gabriel Pascual.
Restoring Hope and Dignity"Global Santa is not just about gifts; it is about restoring the sense of worth in every child, especially those who have faced unimaginable challenges," stated WCH Founder, HRH Queen Mariam Leonor Torres Mastura. "The dedication of Ms. Pangilinan and the Pascual family in providing this sanctuary of care reflects the true heart of our humanitarian mission."
By combining material aid with spiritual support, the mission sought to provide a "hand up" in the healing process of these resilient young women. We Care for Humanity remains committed to protecting the most vulnerable members of society and ensuring that even in the most difficult circumstances, the light of compassion is never extinguished.

We stand with the people of Vietnam.”

AboutWe Care for Humanity: We Care for Humanity (WCH) is an international non-profit organization dedicated to promoting universal humanitarianism. The Global Santa program is one of its flagship initiatives, focused on eradicating poverty and hunger (SDG 1 & 2) by providing food, gifts, and aid to underserved populations worldwide.
In a monumental celebration of academic excellence and global leadership, HRH Queen Mariam Leonor Torres Mastura, Founder and President of We Care for Humanity (WCH) and member of the Sultanate of Maguindanao, served as the Chief Guest at the 15th Convocation of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) in Bangalore.
The ceremony saw a record-breaking 20,904 graduates receive their degrees, marking one of the largest academic gatherings in the institution's history. Queen Mariam arrived directly from the 8th WCH Royal Summit in Bali to address the sea of graduates, faculty, and distinguished families.
A Visionary Partnership for Global Education: The convocation highlighted the profound partnership between WCH and JAIN University. Through the Education for Humanity Program, JAIN has helped WCH award higher education scholarships to hundreds of students from Africa and Asia. Queen Mariam offered her deepest gratitude to the Chairman, Mr. Chenraj Roychand, whose compassion made this collaboration possible. Looking forward, the Queen announced an ambitious goal for 2026: to award more than 1,000 scholarships globally in hand-in-hand collaboration with the university.
The Three Pillars of Action: In her keynote address, Queen Mariam challenged the graduates to view their degrees as "passports" to their destiny. She outlined three crucial lessons for the Class of 2025:
Pillar 1: Redefining Wealth: She urged students to measure success not by accumulation, but by distribution and empowerment. "Your wealth, your time, and your talent must be invested in building sustainable futures," she stated.
Pillar 2: The Power of 'WE': Emphasizing that global challenges like poverty and climate change require coalitions, she challenged graduates to be bridge-builders. "Leadership is about making the people around you better, and that requires constant collaboration," the Queen noted.
Pillar 3: The Call to Purpose: Reflecting on her royal role, she reminded the graduates that their knowledge is a tool for innovation that must have a long-term, sacred purpose. "When you are seventy years old, you won't remember the number in your bank account; you will remember the number of lives you changed," she remarked.
