The "Global Santa" initiative, the flagship humanitarian program of We Care for Humanity (WCH), successfully touched down in Hanoi, bringing essential aid and holiday cheer to those who need it most. Led by WCH Founder and President, Queen Mariam Leonor Torres Mastura, the mission focused on providing relief to patients battling critical illnesses.
The delegation visited two major hospitals dedicated to cancer treatment in Hanoi. The team distributed vital medicines and food supplies to hundreds of patients, offering not just material aid but a message of solidarity and hope during the season.
Spearheading the logistics on the ground was Ms. Bai Huong Vo, the WCH Country Director for Vietnam, whose leadership ensured the smooth execution of the mission.
A significant pillar of this event was the major sponsorship of Ms. Thuy Tran, a dedicated philanthropist and business leader. Ms. Tran, who was previously crowned as one of the "WCH Women of the Year" at the 2024 Royal Summit in Manila, played a crucial role in funding the relief goods. In recognition of her continued service and dedication to the organization's mission, WCH is pleased to announce that Ms. Tran will soon be officially appointed as the WCH Regional Director for Hanoi.
The mission was further strengthened by the generous support of Belynn Lam and Datu Hoa Lam, who joined the delegation in distributing aid directly to the patients.
"Global Santa is not just about giving gifts; it is about letting these patients know that the world has not forgotten them," said Queen Maria. "Thanks to the incredible leadership of Bai Huong Vo and the generosity of Ms. Thuy Tran, we were able to bring light to these hospital wards."
