HRH King Constantine Butamanya Mwogezi to Attend 7th WCH Royal Summit as Esteemed Chief Guest

The 7th WCH Royal Summit is honored to announce His Royal Highness Constantine Butamanya Mwogezi, the revered Isabaruuli (King) of the Buruuli kingdom in Uganda, as one of its distinguished Chief Guests. The prestigious event will take place at the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, on May 27th and 28th, 2025.

Born in Nakasongola, Uganda, King Mwogezi Constantine Butamanya has dedicated his life to the promotion and safeguarding of the rich Buruuli cultural heritage. His reign is marked by a profound commitment to empowering socioeconomic development within his community. A visionary leader, King Mwogezi has spearheaded numerous impactful humanitarian initiatives. These include the construction of vital infrastructure such as the Kingdom Palace main house and the development of five community safe water sources, addressing fundamental needs of his people.

His extensive efforts extend beyond physical infrastructure, encompassing comprehensive programs focused on health, education, and cultural preservation. Under his guidance, the Buruuli kingdom has actively undertaken initiatives to combat critical issues such as HIV/AIDS, gender-based violence, and teenage pregnancies. A significant achievement has been the promotion of literacy in the local Ruruuli language through the development of dictionaries and translations of the Holy Bible, ensuring the vitality of their linguistic heritage.

King Mwogezi's unwavering advocacy for land rights, improved household incomes, and access to education has empowered countless individuals, particularly the youth, to strive for a better and more secure future. His steadfast commitment to unity and development has earned him widespread recognition, including the prestigious Government of Uganda Nalubaale Award.

Beyond his role as a paramount cultural leader for the Buruuli kingdom, King Mwogezi is a highly respected figure in Ugandan society. He serves as the chairman of the Uganda Kings and Cultural Leaders' Forum, a significant platform through which he advocates for the collective interests of cultural institutions across the nation. In this capacity, he fosters unity, celebrates diversity, and encourages collaboration for the greater good of Uganda. King Mwogezi Constantine Butamanya stands as a symbol of resilience and wisdom, diligently guiding his people towards a brighter and more prosperous future while preserving the rich legacy of Buruuli heritage for generations to come.

The 7th WCH Royal Summit is organized by We Care for Humanity (WCH), The Royal House of Luzon Tagalog (Royal Maharlika), and the Sultanate of Magindanaw, in collaboration with the Philippine Honorary Consulate of Las Vegas. The convener of this distinguished event is Maha Putri Mariam Leonor Torres Mastura, the Queen of the Royal House of Luzon Tagalog (also known as the Royal Maharlika) and the Bae Mompong sa Magindanaw.

The presence of His Royal Highness Constantine Mwogezi Butamanya as a Chief Guest will significantly enrich the summit, offering profound insights from a leader dedicated to cultural preservation and community upliftment.

WCH and Sultanate of Magindanaw Extended Humanitarian Aid to Markadz Al-arfadz Orphanage Center in the Spirit of Ramadan

COTABATO - Following the successful "Kanduli" (thanksgiving) event, which featured the Sultan of Magindanaw's “stepping on white dust ritual”, the We Care for Humanity (WCH) team and the Maguindanao Royal Family offered humanitarian assistance to the Markadz Al-arfadz Orphanage Center on March 11, 2024, in the spirit of Ramadan.

Since 2022, the U.S.-based non-profit organization WCH has been involved in charitable initiatives in Mindanao in partnership with the Sultanate of Magindanaw. 

Leading the delegation was HRH Queen Mariam Leonor Torres Mastura, the WCH founder, who presented the organization's mission and dedication to aiding the orphanage.

His Majesty Zulkarnain Mastura VI, the 26th Supreme Sultan of Magindanaw, along with other cultural leaders:  Datu Habib Mastura- Secretary General of SKDOP, H. Datu Suod Ibrahim- Daram sa Magindanaw, Datu Jimmy Asim- Datu Mompong sa Kutawato sa Magindanaw, Datu Jordan Sinsuat- Datu Dikaya III, Datu Alee Uy- Marajalayla Salamen Magindanaw, Datu Zainudin Anan Kabulan- Datu Lawan na Datu Dikaya, HRH Febs Mastura Matalam, Royal Princess sa Magindanaw, HRH Jasma Mastura Karon- Rajah Bai sa Magindanaw, HRH Harjida Mastura Karon- Bailaga sa Magindanaw, Fatima Abdulrakman- Bailawan sa Dikaya, and foreign guest, Dr. Abdalla Sharief- Datu Marajalaila sa UN, who is also the president of United Nations Correspondents Association of Vienna (UNCAV), shared uplifting messages during the visit.

Ustadz Al-faradh Markadz expressed gratitude for the support and congratulated the newly enthroned Sultan on his prosperous reign.

The collaboration between the We Care for Humanity and the Sultanate of Magindanaw has significantly benefited the Markadz Al-arfadz Orphanage Center. During this 2nd visit, essential supplies such as rice and groceries were provided to support the orphanage's needs during Ramadan.

Their generous humanitarian gestures have truly embodied the spirit of Ramadan, bringing hope and joy to the underprivileged children.
