Founder of WCH Appoints School Principal as Regional Director of We Care for Humanity in Rizal

We Care for Humanity's founder, HRH Queen Mariam Leonor Torres Mastura, has recently announced the appointment of Ms. Ana Cristi Santos - Pangilinan as the Regional Director of WCH in Rizal Province. Ms. Santos, who is the Principal II at Tagumpay Elementary School and one of the recipients of the 2023 Woman of the Year Award presented in General Santos, Mindanao, will take on this new role.

The queen expressed her admiration for Ms. Santos, stating, "Her dedication to inclusive education and humanitarian efforts is truly inspiring. Ms. Ana Cristi Santos - Pangilinan's commitment to creating opportunities for all learners, especially those with special needs, embodies the essence of service. We are proud to have her lead WCH in serving the underprivileged in Rizal."

In her new position as the WCH Regional Director for Rizal, Cristi will engage in various humanitarian activities across the region, with backing from the global headquarters of WCH. Her main focus will be on implementing programs that support educational initiatives, relief aids, and community development. Ms. Santos plans to collaborate with local organizations and government agencies to maximize the impact of WCH's efforts.

In addition to her responsibilities in education, Cristi is keen on promoting environmental sustainability projects that involve local communities in Rizal. She believes that empowering people through education and sustainable practices can lead to long-lasting positive change.

The 25th Supreme Sultan of Maguindanao Addressed World Leaders and Royals at the WCH Royal Summit in Dubai

The reigning Supreme Sultan of Maguindanao Mandanaue Darus-salam, His Majesty Abdulaziz Salem Mastura Kudarat V addressed the audience of the very successful WCH Royal Summit attended by world leaders, royals from Africa and Asia, Emirati Sheikhs, and other illustrious personalities last 18th of June at the Pullman Hotel in Dubai.

As the official Royal Kingdom partner of We Care for Humanity and Royal Maharlika, the Sultanate of Maguindanao led by His Majesty Abdulaziz Salem Mastura Kudarat V and his entourage; Her Royal Highness Princess Febraida Mastura Matalam, Her Royal Highness Princess Ispandaria Mastura Sangki, Her Royal Highness Princess Harjida Mastura Karon, Her Royal Highness Princess Jasma Mastura Karon, His Highness Engineer Shayed Panduma Mamayog- Sultan of Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur, Philippines and Bae Noiraida B Bago Ampatuan played important roles as Chief Guests and participated in all the featured events of the summit.

The founder of the WCH Royal Summit, Her Royal Highness Maria Amor Torres, the Queen of Maharlika and Princes of Calabarzon of the Sultanate of Maguindanao expressed immense gratitude, “I am beyond elated by having the presence of all these important people who are catalysts and leaders of change, under one roof, holding hands with We Care for Humanity building a more philanthropic world”. She added, “and especially with the participation of the royal family, the Sultanate of Maguindanao and our beloved Supreme Sultan Salem Mastura, who, despite his condition is here right now, in unity with all of us”.

We truly appreciate the important role that religious and cultural leaders like ours, the Sultanate of Maguindanao Mandanaue Darus-Salam, Philippines plays in building an environment of peace and development worldwide for humanitarianism is one of the fundamental principles of Islam where giving and helping are forms of worship. With these humanitarian approach/concern, an inclination of passion and benevolence to serve more to the needy are becoming rapid and earnest.

We are therefore obliged to strengthen collaboration with our group to attain our goal (mission & vision). and we are here to build camaraderie and seek more opportunities in helping our brothers and sisters alleviate their suffering and save more people’s lives. That is what Islam taught us and the sole purpose of human existence.

Sultan Salem came from the unbroken royal lineage of Sharif Kabungsuwan, the very first Sultan of Maguindanao which started in year 1515.

WCH Ambassador, Sean Bardoo Leads the Laptops for Humanity Program of We Care for Humanity


We Care for Humanity (WCH) launched the Laptops for Humanity program in 2023 which aims to bridge the digital divide by providing access to technology for those who may not have the means to afford it. By equipping marginalized individuals with laptops, WCH empowers them with the tools needed to succeed in today's technology-driven world. Through Laptops for Humanity, WCH strives to create opportunities for education, skill development, and economic advancement, ultimately paving the way for a brighter future for these individuals and their communities. 

To lead this program, WCH Founder Queen Maria Amor Leonor Torres Mastura appointed WCH Human Rights Ambassador Sean Bardoo to facilitate the program. Sean, with his background in law and experience as a radio commentator, brings a unique perspective to the Laptops for Humanity program. His dedication to human rights and his passion for making a positive impact on society make him the perfect leader for this initiative. Through his dedication, the program has seen great success in reaching those in need in Uganda and Kenya and providing them with the necessary tools to thrive in an increasingly digital world.

"As the program continues to expand, we are confident that the Laptops for Humanity initiative will touch more lives and make a lasting difference in communities worldwide", said Torres.

WCH Founder Visits Ivory Coast to Promote Education for Humanity (E4H)

WCH Founder Queen Amor Leonor Torres recently journeyed to Côte d'Ivoire as part of the Education for Humanity (E4H) Program African Tour, accompanied by Jain University's Foreign Admission Manager, Mr. Santosh Chowdhury.

As the head of the delegation, Torres, also known as the Traveling Queen, held productive discussions with key stakeholders in higher education, academia, and Traditional Chiefs under the guidance of WCH partner, the Human Development Association (HUDAS) headed by Mrs. Alina OUATTARA, located in Côte d'Ivoire.

The Education for Humanity (E4H) initiative seeks to provide scholarships to disadvantaged Ivorian students, enabling them to pursue higher education or vocational training.

During her visit, the Queen took time to visit an organization supporting vulnerable groups such as street children, orphans, juvenile inmates, and widows. Here, she brought joy to the children by providing both sustenance and essential supplies.

"We are dedicated to coming back to Ivory Coast soon to continue our humanitarian work," were her final words before departing from Ivory Coast.

We Care For Humanity Adopted A Primary School In India

Harmonizing with UNSDG4-Quality Education, WCH launched the “Godmother Program”, a platform that provides financial support to marginalized schools.

We Care for Humanity Adopted a Primary School in IndiaThe founder of We Care for Humanity (WCH)Sultana Maria Amor Torres traveled to Puducherry, India to fulfill her commitment to the Little Angels Junior Primary School to be its second mother.

The Godmother program is a new Education program of WCH wherein we adopt marginalized schools by means of giving them financial support on regular basis to sustain their status or aid their critical financial situations and even uplift the economic condition of the school.”, explained by Torres. She added, “schools who qualify as our adoptees are those you may consider very poor, most often located in far flung areas in developing countries, and experiencing economic hardships, that when we come in. We not only offer financial support but other sustainable solutions so they can keep the schools going and the children are guaranteed to receive education.

Maria was accompanied by WCH Regional Director, Logesh Dhanasekaran and WCH Humanitarian Ambassador, Rajasimhan Murugavel on a 10-hour roundtrip from Chennai to Karaikal. “We are so proud of the work of WCH all over the world and even more grateful for the accomplishment of WCH that’s being carried-out in our area. As the WCH Regional Director in Tamil Nadu, it will be my duty to ensure that our WCH’s mission and vision are being implemented well and we impact the community in the most effective way,” said Dhanasekaran.

Little Angels Junior Primary School is a government approved school with affordable fees to ensure many students attain education from poor financial background. “We are grateful to Princess Maria Amor and We Care for Humanity, if not for them we would have totally lost the license to operate the school,” explained Mrs. Sumathy Thirupathy, the founder of the school. “We were able to solve the issues of improving the public toilet of the school, as well as paying the government fees to continue our operation. And now that WCH is our permanent Godmother who will support us every step of the way, it’s only fitting that we name the school after Princess Maria,” she proudly added.

The school is now named Princess Maria Amor Little Angels Primary School, located in Kairakal, Puducherry, and currently catering to 100 students. The school provides food for the students and other support other than education.

Eco-Palace for Humanity – A Social-Economic Development Project Towards Making Turkey as the Leader for Healthy Ageing Globally

Sultana Mariam Amor Torres Mastura, founder and president of We Care for Humanity (WCH), a non-profit organization based in United States arrived in Ankara to form the WCH Turkey Branch in collaboration with World Healthy Ageing Council – a Turkey based organization.

WCH is an internationally recognized organization dealing mainly with current global issues focusing on the seven (7) United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG) such as: #1 No Poverty, #3 Good Health And Well Being, #4 Quality Education, #5 Gender Equality, #10 Reduced Inequality (Human Rights), #13 Climate Action, #16 Peace And Justice Strong Institutions. WCH has branches all over the world and recently opened a branch in Austria prior to coming to Ankara.


According to Sultana, WCH Turkey branch will be focusing on Healthy Ageing advocacy, hence the reason for tying-up with WHAC, which mission is to create a world network and alliance for Healthy Ageing. “WHAC is a platform that leads, connects and defines the healthy aging industry, supports organizations and professionals that develop wellness environments and services for adults over 50”, says Gerontologist Dr. Kemal Aydin, the president and one of the founders of WHAC.

Eco-Palace for Humanity is a vision of Sultana Mariam Amor and is now being conceptualized in the Philippines, Cambodia and Uganda. “The Eco-Palace will be the center for FREE education, health and wellness, livelihood programs, culture and arts, and advance technologies and innovations to solve global issues. In the case of Turkey, we want to design an Eco-Palace which is catered more on Healthy Ageing for all, with the support of the Turkish government, local NGO’s and academe,” says the Sultan. “WCH is supported by social investors from around the world and we are confident that the concept of Eco-Palace Turkey would be achievable which puts Turkey as the leader in World Healthy Ageing.

WCH And GITM Partnering on "Education For Her" Scholarship Program For Marginalized Women And Girls Of SAARC Countries

We Care for Humanity (WCH) recently announced its partnership formed with Global Institute of Technology & Management (GITM) towards awarding Scholarships for Higher Education to underprivileged women and girls in the SAARC countries particularly Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh.  GITM pledged to award five scholarships grants on B. Tech and BBA degrees to WCH annually to distribute to above mentioned countries.

According to WCH founder and president, Princess Maria Amor Torres, the partnership with GITM is a huge support to WCH’s education program- EDUCATION FOR HER, empowering women and girls through education which is the focus of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. “The best weapon to combat poverty, hunger, violence and inequality is education. No woman or girl should be deprived of education because of her economic condition or gender.”  She continues, “everyone should have access to education but since that world is not ready for it yet, we are grateful for institutions like GITM, whose humanitarian attributes are beyond its corporate social responsibility.” 

The Global Institute of Technology & Management, Gurgaon, was established in 2008 under the aegis of the Baljeet Singh Education Society (Regd.) to promote quality technical & management education of global standard in a world-class environment. The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Govt. of India and is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak (Haryana).

Last February, the princess announced at the 1st Peace and Humanity Conference held in Kathmandu organized by Varajkilya Productions, that the Tirupati English Boarding High School, a school for marginalized children and youth in Nepal is the first recipient of the EDUCATION FOR HER Scholarship grants. Its chief patron, Venerable Rinpoche Phurba Dorjee expressed his thanks, “my Vision and Project of  E.E.H.E., Education, Employment, Healthcare and Enlightenment is reaching more and more  important people to support children and adults to education, create enterprises, employment, healthcare and Enlightenment, we are grateful to WCH and GITM for their gallant support.”
