We Care for Humanity Deploys Emergency "Global Santa" Relief Aid To Flood-Stricken Vietnam Following 8th WCH Royal Summit

PHU YEN, VIETNAM – Following the successful conclusion of the 8th WCH Royal Summit in Bali, Indonesia, the We Care for Humanity (WCH) delegation returned to Vietnam to face a national catastrophe. In response to the severe flooding and typhoon aftermath that has claimed numerous lives and caused billions of dollars in damages, WCH has activated an early deployment of its "Global Santa" program to provide immediate relief to the hardest-hit communities.

The emergency mission was spearheaded by WCH Founder, HRH Maha Putri Mariam Leonor Torres Mastura, and executed on the ground by the WCH Vietnam leadership, including Country Director Bai Huong Vo, Deputy Director Hoa Lam, and Royal Maharlika Cabinet Member Thanh Lam, alongside a dedicated team of volunteers.

From Summit to Service While the WCH Royal Summit in Bali celebrated global humanitarianism, the situation in Vietnam demanded immediate action. As reported by international news outlets, the region has been devastated by extreme weather, leaving thousands without food, clean water, or shelter.

“The true measure of our organization is not just in the summits we hold, but in how quickly we respond when humanity is in pain,” said Queen Mariam. “We have launched the Global Santa initiative early this year because hunger and cold do not wait for the holidays. We stand with the people of Vietnam.”

Impact and Distribution The WCH team successfully reached six critical locations in the Phu Yen province and surrounding areas, distributing tons of rice, clean water, warm blankets, essential groceries, and financial aid to over 600 families and institutions.

The relief distribution breakdown is as follows:

• Tuy An, Dong: 200 families received 1,000 kilos of rice, 200 blankets, 200 bottles of water, 200 bottles of soy sauce, and cash assistance.
• Xa Hoa Thang, Phu Yen: 200 families were served with 1,000 kilos of rice, 200 blankets, 200 bottles of mineral water, and cash assistance.
• Khuong Son Temple, Phu Yen: 50 families received 100 kilos of rice, 50 blankets, 50 cartons of milk, 50 bottles of soy sauce, 50 bottles of cooking oil, and cash assistance.
• Co Nhi Vien Mang Lang (Orphanage), Phu Yen: The team donated 100 kilos of rice, 50 blankets, 50 bottles of milk, 50 bottles of cooking oil, and $600 USD in cash aid for the facility.
• An Thach Tuy An, Phu Yen: 50 families received 100 kilos of rice, 50 blankets, 50 cartons of milk, and cash assistance.
• Xuan Loc Phu Yen (Phuoc Long): 50 families received 100 kilos of rice, 50 blankets, 50 cartons of milk, and cash assistance.

In a monumental celebration of academic excellence and global leadership, HRH Queen Mariam Leonor Torres Mastura, Founder and President of We Care for Humanity (WCH) and member of the Sultanate of Maguindanao, served as the Chief Guest at the 15th Convocation of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) in Bangalore.

The ceremony saw a record-breaking 20,904 graduates receive their degrees, marking one of the largest academic gatherings in the institution's history. Queen Mariam arrived directly from the 8th WCH Royal Summit in Bali to address the sea of graduates, faculty, and distinguished families.

A Visionary Partnership for Global Education: The convocation highlighted the profound partnership between WCH and JAIN University. Through the Education for Humanity Program, JAIN has helped WCH award higher education scholarships to hundreds of students from Africa and Asia. Queen Mariam offered her deepest gratitude to the Chairman, Mr. Chenraj Roychand, whose compassion made this collaboration possible. Looking forward, the Queen announced an ambitious goal for 2026: to award more than 1,000 scholarships globally in hand-in-hand collaboration with the university.

The Three Pillars of Action: In her keynote address, Queen Mariam challenged the graduates to view their degrees as "passports" to their destiny. She outlined three crucial lessons for the Class of 2025:

• Pillar 1: Redefining Wealth: She urged students to measure success not by accumulation, but by distribution and empowerment. "Your wealth, your time, and your talent must be invested in building sustainable futures," she stated.
• Pillar 2: The Power of 'WE': Emphasizing that global challenges like poverty and climate change require coalitions, she challenged graduates to be bridge-builders. "Leadership is about making the people around you better, and that requires constant collaboration," the Queen noted.
• Pillar 3: The Call to Purpose: Reflecting on her royal role, she reminded the graduates that their knowledge is a tool for innovation that must have a long-term, sacred purpose. "When you are seventy years old, you won't remember the number in your bank account; you will remember the number of lives you changed," she remarked.

Honoring Knights of Education During the event, Queen Mariam also led a standing ovation for Dr. Easwaran Iyer and Dr. Santosh Kumar, who were recently knighted as Knights of the Royal Maharlika for their tireless dedication to education.

The 2025 Global Santa Program continued its mission of safety and joy at Catmon Elementary School in Montalban, Rizal, thanks to the generous sponsorship of Ms. Marylou Oro, a distinguished business owner of medical clinics in Texas, USA.

Ms. Oro, who was recently honored as We Care for Humanity’s (WCH) Woman of the Year 2025 in Las Vegas for her profound community impact, extended her philanthropic reach to the Philippines to ensure the well-being of young learners.

A Mission Focused on Safety and Joy The initiative was meticulously coordinated by Pastora Rizaline Irene Torres Pascual, WCH Country Director for the Philippines, alongside Ms. Cristi Santos Pangilinan, WCH Regional Director for Rizal Province. Together, they facilitated the distribution of "Gifts of Safety" to 100 young students.

The 2025 Global Santa Program made a heartfelt stop at Southville 8 Elementary School in Rizal, as Datu Jordan Nirankari-Bowen, the Royal Envoy for Communications and Legal Council of Royal Maharlika, spearheaded a special gift-giving mission during his recent business trip to Manila.

Datu Jordan, who also serves as an Ambassador of the Sultanate of Maguindanao, was accompanied by Datu Rey Lorca, a Minister of the Royal Maharlika and fellow Ambassador. Together, they brought holiday cheer and essential supplies to 250 young learners of Southville 8.

The initiative was seamlessly coordinated by Ms. Cristi Santos Pangilinan, the WCH Regional Director for Rizal, who also serves as the dedicated Principal of Southville 8 Elementary School.
