Ms. Oro, who was recently honored as We Care for Humanity’s (WCH) Woman of the Year 2025 in Las Vegas for her profound community impact, extended her philanthropic reach to the Philippines to ensure the well-being of young learners.
A Mission Focused on Safety and Joy The initiative was meticulously coordinated by Pastora Rizaline Irene Torres Pascual, WCH Country Director for the Philippines, alongside Ms. Cristi Santos Pangilinan, WCH Regional Director for Rizal Province. Together, they facilitated the distribution of "Gifts of Safety" to 100 young students.
Recognizing the importance of preparedness, Ms. Oro donated Emergency Kits consisting of high-quality flashlights and whistles, providing the children with essential tools for safety. To add a festive touch to the mission, the students were also treated to assorted candies and holiday sweets.
Empowering the Next Generation The choice of emergency kits reflects Ms. Oro’s background in the medical field and her commitment to proactive community care. By equipping the students of Catmon Elementary with these tools, the mission aims to instill a sense of security and resilience in the youth.
