Bali, Indonesia – September 27, 2025 – We Care for Humanity (WCH) and the Royal Maharlika are honored to announce that Balbir Seimar BEM, volunteer leader, environmental advocate, and cultural ambassador from Walsall, United Kingdom, will be recognized as a WCH Inductee at the 8th WCH Royal Summit in Bali, Indonesia.
Balbir Seimar BEM is a distinguished volunteer leader, environmental advocate, and cultural ambassador from Walsall, United Kingdom. Awarded the British Empire Medal in 2021 for outstanding service to the homeless and the High Sheriff Award in 2025 for her decades of community engagement, Balbir embodies a rare blend of compassion, resilience, and civic leadership.
For over 25 years, she has been at the heart of grassroots humanitarian initiatives. She leads a women’s support group providing food and companionship to homeless individuals, strengthens public trust through the Walsall Police Strategic Community Reference Group, and champions inclusion as a “Stand-by-Me Ambassador”, encouraging the reporting of hate crimes.
Her environmental advocacy is equally profound. As Chief Community Engagement Ambassador for World Against Single Use Plastic (WASUP), she has organized school seminars across 33 institutions, spearheaded canal clean-ups, launched the WASUP Garden in Goscote, and supported urban greening efforts such as Severn Trent’s Commonwealth Forest tree-planting initiatives. These projects not only promote sustainability but also bring diverse communities together in shared purpose.
Culturally, Balbir plays an active role as Secretary of the Hindu Forum Walsall, advancing interfaith dialogue and heritage engagement through events such as the Lajna Imaillah centenary and community cultural festivals. In 2023, her dedication was recognized on a national stage when she was invited to King Charles III’s coronation at Westminster Abbey, a moment she described as both humbling and inspiring.
Balbir Seimar’s life of service reflects a belief in the power of community, compassion, and collective action. Her enduring commitment to humanitarian work continues to uplift lives, foster unity, and inspire future generations. (WCH INDUCTEE)
With this induction at the 8th WCH Royal Summit, Balbir Seimar BEM’s legacy of service, sustainability, and cultural leadership will be celebrated among distinguished leaders and humanitarians from across the globe.
