Amortorres Paintings Valued At Usd10000 Sold At Art Auction In Brazil

Amortorres sold four (4) of her abstract paintings at the festive event of the Himalaya Peace Caravan, Brazil organized by We Care for Humanity, Gruppo Nicoletti, Queiroz Advogados and Academia Internacional de Cultura (AIC) at Cota Mil Clube in Brasilia, last August 6, 2022.

The Sultana of the Royal House of Maguindanao and founder of We Care for Humanity, Maria Amor Torres Mastura, also known by her artist name as Amortorres raised funds for her charity by auctioning four of her Abstract collection. 

According to Mr. Luiz de Alcantara, “informal art and figurative expressionism are married in the artistic work of Sultana Princess Maria Amor. Her paintings offer a visual experience composed of great aesthetic effects, thanks to the lines and shapes observed in her works produced with volumes and materials of liquefied appearances. The predominant colors are warm and connote with the mysteries of the earth. A generic message emerges from her works that exerts a direct influence on the human soul, touched in its most sensitive points. The artist Amortorres travels and explores in depth the Eastern and Western creative universes with the intention of promoting art and harmony between different cultures”.  Luiz de Alcântara holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Visual Arts from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels which develops activities in the areas of theory and practice of fine arts and industrial arts.

Dr. Wellington Queiroz of the Queiroz Advogados and Gruppo Nicolettii  acted as the dynamic auctioneer who had won the interests of the audience and made a breakthrough by selling all the four Amortorres paintings. The generous bidders who won the auction were Dr. Sargento Paulo, a revered politician and Dr Lúcia Cristina, a successful lawyer, both from Brasilia. 

Amortorres herself was ecstatic at the outcome and thanked everyone who contributed to the success of the event, especially the above-mentioned partners, Dr. Franco Nicoletti, founder of Gruppo Nicoletti, the former president of Ecuador- H.E. Rosalia Arteaga, the organizer- Aria Travel Intelligence headed by Iva Evangelista, emcee- Lucas Carvalho, Alexandre Augusto Honorio, Gabriela Magalhaes, Keveni Guedes Santos, Maxwell Santos and Matteo.

Brasilia, Brazil – We Care for Humanity (WCH) Founder, Sultana Maria Amor Torres journeyed to Brazil for the second time this year. The main purpose of her visit was to attend the 200th year Anniversary of the  Grande Oriente do Brazil (GOB) otherwise known as the Freemasons.

Torres, whose first visit to Brasilia made some impacts to a few charitable institutions and was recognized by the GOB, received a direct invitation from its Grand Master General, Sovereign Brother Múcio Bonifacio Guimarães. “It was difficult to refuse such powerful invitation coming from equally powerful personalities, I knew I had to come. WCH’s mission is in line with GOB’s advocacy, it was an honor to celebrate with them and to witness the greatness of the event filled with so much history.”, beamed the Sultana. She added, “of course, none of this would be possible without the coordination of my partners- Dr. Franco Nicoletti, Dr. Wellington Queiroz and Cav. Victor Francella. The Nicoletti Group and the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem (OSJ) Knights of Malta, Priory of Brazil were the main conduit of WCH in Brasilia. Through them we have met great people, institutions, and dignitaries”.  

The weeklong celebration was attended by luminaries from all over the world. The princess attended two days of magnificent events including the GOB Recognition by the Senate at the State House of Law, the Cultural event and finally the Gala Dinner, both were held at the GOB Palace in Brasilia.

In this leg of her trips, the Sultana also had a chance to do sight-seeing of the city, courtesy of Fraternidade Femenina Brasilia, hosted by Ms. Shirley Pontes. “I had such a fun experience seeing the beautiful and historical places of Brasilia together with my friend Shirin Vafaeyan from Iran and had the opportunity to meet the lovely and notable Grand Masters’ spouses coming from different regions and nations who attended the GOB 200th Anniversary. Shirley Pontes was such a fantastic host; we couldn’t ask for more of her warmth and hospitality, we learned so much from her about Brasilia!” – said the WCH Founder.

Before packing her bags to travel to Manaus, Amor together with the Nicoletti Group was invited to visit the Instituto Shotokan de Karate, a non-profit organization providing martial arts education to the children and youth to keep them out of the street and away from drugs. Apparently, this institution has been producing champions who compete nationally and internationally. The group was impressed by the student’s martial arts demonstration and vowed to assist promote their mission.

Finally, upon leaving Brasilia, Amor announced her upcoming comeback to Brazil in August 2022 to bring the Himalaya Peace Caravan for a three-day event which will be facilitated by the Gruppo Nicoletti and the Academia Internacional de Cultura.

WCH Founder Appoints New Vice President For Business Affairs And Country Director For Egypt, Collaborations Formed For Sustainable Humanitarian Projects

Unstoppable and determined, Sultana Princess Maria Amor Torres, founder of We Care for Humanity (WCH) and Chairman of the Global Order of Dignitaries and Philanthropists (G.O.D.) Awards hopped on her next destination, Egypt. In Cairo, the WCH is set to open a branch of this international organization where peace, climate change and women empowerment will be some of the sectors it will focus on.

Along with the formation of the branch, Sultana Torres also appointed the new Vice President for Business Affairs in the person of Engineer Mostafa Saleh Amin, a civil engineer, having dual nationality (Egyptian/American) with more than 34 years of experience, working with very reputable companies such as IBM (through United Electronics and Trading) and Bahgat Group. In Saudi Arabia, he was the CEO of a company named “Industry Innovations” which is a general contracting company located in Dammam.  His vast experience on banking, finance, real estate and marketing has earned him the approval of the board of directors of WCH. 

“I believe on the ability and expertise of Eng. Mostafa Amin, with his help WCH is ready to take on huge and significant projects for social and economic developments and produce income streams to support our humanitarian projects”, the Sultana revealed. “I am confident as well that under his leadership, WCH Egypt will thrive as one of the most active and result-oriented NGOs in the middle-east,” her Majesty added.

The signing of Memorandum of Agreement and Oath-Taking took place at the Fairmont Hotel in Cairo last 26th of November. Along with Eng. Amin, other officers were also appointed: Mr. Hany Al Araby as WCH Deputy Country Director and Mr. Wagdy Yousef III as WCH Media Director and Photo-Journalist, witnessed by Mr. Deepak Kuntawala, founder of DVK Group from UK.

On additional good news, WCH Egypt has bridged collaborations with the Saad Group, a leading company in Egypt on Energy. The two entities have signed MOU on working together in some African countries particularly Uganda where the company has already initiated a promising green environment LBG project with the government.

Meanwhile, another purpose of the visit in the country was the conceptualization and brainstorming with the team of Eco-Palace for Humanity, a wholistic philanthropic project founded by WCH founder herself. “We have a good team of Engineers and designers in the country headed by our newly appointed VP for Business Affairs, Eng. Amin., my vision is coming to life: to create a civilization of humanitarians for humanity. We will soon announce what this project entails.”
